Q: Can I upgrade from former versions?
A: Yes, you can. Please notice our Upgrade-Site.
Very important:
If you upgrade from version 1.x to version 2.0 you have to uninstall the former installation and to delete you networks and settings by the uninstaller tool. Then you have to create your network new in the new version! You can not use both versions on the same computer!

Q: [ONLY RELEVANT FOR VERSION 1.x] I got the error message "OLWatch-Addin not started! Application is closed now!", what can I do?
A: Please check on this computer, if the Outlook element from SYNCING.NET is installed correctly and activated:

  1. Inspect in Outlook all entries under "Help -> About Microsoft Outlook -> Disabled Items". If there is an entry "OLWatchECE" on the list, please activate this item. In Outlook 2007 you will find the disabled items under "Help -> Disabled Items".
  2. Also have a look at "Tools -> Options -> Other -> Advanced Options -> Add-In Manager". There must be a checked entry named "OLWatchExtension" listed. If the item isn't checked, please check it and close all windows by clicking "OK". If there is no entry "OLWatchExtension" listed, you should reinstall SYNCING.NET. In Outlook 2007 you will find this entry under "Tools -> Trust Center -> Add-ins -> select 'Exchange Client Extensions' on bottom -> and click 'Go' ".
