The High-Tech Start-Up Fund provides not only available capital, but also a mentoring network for the respective general managers. Total capital is a fund of 272 million euros. It is composed of deposits of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology, the KfW Banking Group and the industry companies BASF, German Telekom and Siemens. The Future Fund Heilbronn (ZFHN) invests venture capital in companies with promising ideas that have the potential to be successful in the market. Subsidized firms must be located in the Heilbronn region or be willing to relocate to the area of Heilbronn. ZFHN is not the typical venture capital fund. Rather, it is interested in a long-term partnership of at least seven to ten years with the portfolio company. It sees itself as a partner of the ZFHN portfolio companies and gives long-term support for success. ZFHN not only assists entrepreneurs with capital, but also provides access to the industrial network from the economic region Heilbronn-Franken. In addition, the ZFHN also helps in controlling participation and offers strategic advice. For more information visit www.zukunftsfonds-hn.de.
