There are many people using Outlook for their task management. You too? Certainly you know how to create a new task in Outlook. But did you know that there are four ways to create? And perhaps you’ll find here a possibility which is more comfortable for you.
1. Create a new task on the menu
You can use the menu to create a task. Click in the menu on File – New – Task.

2. Create a new task on the toolbar
Just click the button New Task in the Task Folder. It’s faster than the first possibility because you need only one mouse click.

3. New task via shortcut
Do you know the shortcut Ctrl + N? Just press the keys when you’re in the Task Folder and a new task form will opened quickly.
4. Another shortcut
By pressing Shift + Ctrl + K you can open a new task form from anywhere. For example you can create a new task directly from your calendar. This is very useful because you can have a look about your dates and then create a task. So you haven’t to switch between calendar and your Task Folder.
